For the past two weeks at work, my co-workers and I have been suffering from colds and influenza. Unfortunately, when my came turn came it extended to Memorial Day weekend. So instead of barbeques and booze, I've been sucking down NyQuil and Naked Juice. Oh well - at least I finally had the chance to see what all the fuss was all about with Downton Abbey. I laid in bed and watched both seasons for three days straight. So much outfit envy!

ROUND OBJECTS
When it comes to grouping things together around the house, the first thing that I usually consider is shape. In this case, I chose round and bulbous vessels. The wooden object was a find from Etsy. KEEPIN' IT ORGANIZED
Now that I'm no longer in my twenties, I feel like it's unacceptable to just shove loose papers into my bag. Not to mention extremely embarrassing when I pull out legal documents covered in tobacco confetti and purse dirt - total amateur adult move. This is when I realized I needed to get something professional and chic to solve my scrunchy paper woes. Cue Clare Vivier's Foldover Clutch and Ernest Alexander's Orange Zip Folio - two equally chic and equally sophisticated carryalls that say "Hire me - I keep my papers in check and I'm fashionable."

JUNIPER RIDGE

NEW OTTOMAN
I had been daydreaming about owning one of these moroccan poufs from West Elm. I'm so glad I bought one when I did because they don't seem to be offering them on the website any longer.

NEW STRIPES
I love a good stripe. Apparently, Madewell does too... thus, the unfortunate dent in my bank account.
